There are multiple grades of materials

SS 304 (Most Common)

  • Conventional foil

  • Gauges: 0.02mm ti 0.30mm

  • Sizes: Widths from 100m to 690mm

  • Repeatable paste release below surface area ratios of 0.66

       (Subject to the solder paste type as we as

        squeegee pressure)

FG (Fine Grain)​

  • Fine Grain is stainless steel with superior fatigue strength, exceptionally smooth surface and elevated wear factor.

  • higher performance

  • Improved print quality, release and especially with paste types 6, 7 and 8

Nickel Blank

​

  • Excellent durability for longer lifespan solder stencils (~2 times harder than fine grained stainless)

  • Excellent laser cutting for smooth walls (for paste release) and accurate/precise apertures

  • Excellent flatness

  • Easy Cleaning (mirror finish)

  • Maintains ductility after laser cutting

  • Repeatable paste release below surface area ratios of 0.55 (subject to the solder paste type as well as squeegee pressure)
