Nano Coating Service

What Nano Coating Service?

It is highly conductible with anti-adhesion ability, dirt can be removed easily (self-cleaning). And have longer life time, with the ability to increase the utilization rates of machine. It reduce yield loss and reduce cleaning material (usage) and cleaning time to enhances durability of materials.

What are the Advantages?

It minimizing the remaining solder paste for preventing the solder paste from the spreading on the bottom side of stencil and reduce the frequency of stencil cleaning

How many types are they?

Aculon (Self maintenance) [5 nm]

Glass (Transparent) [50 nm]

PVD Gold Coating [600~800 nm]

Tint Coating (Color) [2 micron ~ 4 micron]

#1 micrometers = 1000 nano-meters

Aculon Nano Coating

  • Below or 10k prints (Subject to solvent PH)

  • Reduce Underside Cleaning

  • No Capital Equipment

  • Durable Treatment

  • Apply in Less than 5 Minutes

  • Treat Sensitive Apertures

  • Reduce Solder Ball Transfer

  • Treats Aperture Walls

  • Cost Effective

  • Industry Proven

  • Increased Print Reliability

  • Reduced Paste Transfer

  • Reduce Flux Bleed

BMS Coating (Clear Nano)

  • Below or 40k prints (Subject to Solvent PH)

  • BM-S coating enable to minimize the solder remaining on the stencil wall surface and maximize solder-release.

  • BM-S coating repels the flux.

  • Minimizing the remaining solder paste.

  • Preventing the solder paste from spreading on the bottom side of the stencil.

  • Promoting the cleaning performance.

  • The thickness of the BM coating: 50 nm

  • The material of the coating: Resin containing Fluric polymer

PVD Nano Coating

  • Below or 80k prints (Subject to Solvent PH, SQ pressure)

  • Uniform and con-formal coating will not alter critical dimension tolerances of apertures and parts

  • Better thickness

  • Vastly quicker production time when compared to traditional thicker coating

  • Maintains the elasticity/flexibility of the piece

  • Smoother work piece surface finish and better solder paste release

  • Reduces firction (increased lubricity) to increased quality and life span of stencil

  • Large variety of substrates

With Coating

  • With Coating, the attractive force can be massively reduced.

  • Attractive force Ratio up to WO/W = 0.53/0.02 = 26 (times)

Homogenous Nano Coating Flim

It can be seen that the uncoated gold shows a inhomogenous chemical surface because of air contamination and adsorbents. The coated gold is chemical homogeneous because of the functional Nano-layer. (By Pulse Force Microscopy)

Reduce Au thickness 80% Slightly damage & corrosion

It show that even reduce Au thickness with nano coating still can improve the touch down performance.

Testing Remaining : 30 Days

Conclusion

  • First Pass Yield will not be affected after coating

  • Average TD / Socket is 5.8 times better than Au Pin.

  • Socket PM No. is 4 time less than Au Pin.

  • Total Test Volume is 1.36 times better than Au Pin.

  • Increase the utilization rates of machine.
